EZ LAUNCH for Kayaks and Canoes

Okay, so all of us who use kayaks and canoes we know the hardest part of canoeing and kayaking is getting in and out of the craft.  How many times have we seen someone loose their balance and splush, right over and into the water?  Or know someone that doesn't get to enjoy the peace and beautiful waterways because they are unsure of their ability to get in or out of a kayak or canoe?  Our goal is to meet all of your waterfront needs. That’s why EZ Launch is modular, making it adaptable to any location. It can be used alone or added to your current dock system. The basic setup is a drive-on, drive-off system with low side rails to assist  you in pulling up on or off the launch.

Accessibility Options

The optional Transfer Bench is built with two heights for varying wheelchair sizes and two Transfer Slide Boards to accommodate differing watercraft heights.EZ Dock has taken accessibility to another level with their new EZ Launch Accessible Transfer System for Kayaks and Canoes. Accessible Transfer System provides individuals with disabilities universal accessibility that exceeds the minimum requirements of the ADA.  The Transfer Slide Boards land securely on a railing system that stabilize and provide grab bar transfer assistance for easy slide movement. Users can simply slide over and drop down into a kayak or canoe while utilizing handrails to pull off and on.

Both of these systems work great for city launch areas or as a private launch and can be left in the water all winter, depending on your location.  The city of  Winona, MN installed the EZ Launch in 2012 at Lake Winona for public use.  Call us today for more information.
